What They Do
cos(θ) — the horizontal part. How far left or right.
sin(θ) — the vertical part. How far up or down.
tan(θ) — sin÷cos. The slope of the radius line. Explodes when cos hits zero.
Together, sin and cos turn an angle into a point on a circle — the basis of every spiral, rosette, and radial pattern on a plotter.
